Job Description

Framestore Integrated Advertising is seeking exceptional design talent for freelance opportunities in their US-based offices. They are looking for individuals who can execute animations designed and art directed by senior team members. Applicants should be skilled in 2D and/or 3D animation, with additional capabilities such as drawing, storyboarding, character design, or typography being advantageous. The company prioritizes maintaining a list of freelancers to contact for upcoming projects.

Responsibilities

• Create highly engaging and complex motion graphics animations for various projects.
• Conceptualize and produce design projects with internal Art Directors and Creative Directors.
• Create style frames, storyboards, motion tests, and assemble treatments for pitch presentations.
• Work independently on design projects or as part of a larger team on design-focused tasks.
• Manage time effectively and provide accurate assessments of workload and completion timelines.

Requirements

Strong 2D and/or 3D animation skills are essential. Experience with software such as Photoshop CC, Illustrator, After Effects is required, with familiarity in Cinema 4D, Houdini, or Maya considered a benefit. Ability to draw, storyboard, develop character designs, and an interest in typography may also be necessary depending on job requirements.

Benefits

Freelancer pay range based on experience level in California and New York:

• Juniors (<1 year - 3 years experience): $25 - $35 per hour
• Mids (4 - 6 years experience): $400 - $550 per day
• Seniors (6+ years of experience): $600 - $900 per day

The posted range reflects a minimum to maximum scope of payment under the New York Pay Transparency Bill and the California Pay Transparency Law. Pay may differ in other markets outside of New York or California, based on relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
