Job Description

Framestore Integrated Advertising are always on the lookout for exceptional design talent. They invite freelancers interested in future opportunities in their US-based offices to submit their details. The work primarily involves executing animations designed and art directed by senior team members, requiring strong 2D and/or 3D animation skills. Additional skills such as drawing/storyboarding, character design, or an interest in typography may also be beneficial depending on job requirements. Freelance opportunities will be advertised on the company website, and those who submit their details will be contacted when opportunities arise.

Requirements

Essential Skills:

• Strong 2D and/or 3D animation skills
• Proficiency in Photoshop CC, Illustrator, and AfterFX
• Able to draw, storyboard, and develop character designs
• Interest in typography is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Create highly engaging and complex motion graphics animations for various projects
• Conceptualize and produce design projects with internal Art Directors and Creative Directors
• Create style frames, storyboards, motion tests, and assemble treatments for pitch presentations
• Work independently on design projects or as part of a larger team
• Manage time effectively and provide accurate workload assessments

Compensation

The pay range for positions in California and New York is as follows:

• Juniors (<1 year - 3 years experience): $25 - $35 per hour
• Mids (4 - 6 years experience): $400 - $550 per day
• Seniors (6+ years of experience): $600 - $900 per day

This range represents the minimum to maximum salary for this role in New York and California and is in compliance with the New York Pay Transparency Bill and the California Pay Transparency Law. Salaries may vary in markets outside of these states.
