Job Description

The Events Motion Graphics Designer position is responsible for creating 2D and 3D graphics and visual effects for the Turning Point USA’s Events Productions team. The specialist works closely with the creative lead and video editors to ensure project requirements are fulfilled in a timely manner. The team is responsible for creating concert style presentations, speaker walk-outs, event introductions and other video assets to be displayed on large stage LED walls. This is a contracted position that may lead to full-time employment in the future, with work hours ranging from 10 to 25 hours per week, peaking during event weeks.

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Experience with 3D modeling and animation software (e.g., Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D).
• A strong portfolio of previously completed design projects.

Desired but Not Required Skills and Experience:

• Visual effects experience.
• Prior experience with events.
• Educational background or professional experience in motion graphics.
• Experience in character animation (2D or 3D).
• Experience with particle systems.

Additional Information

Employment may involve occasional tight deadlines and stretches to complete assignments, as well as potential travel to events. The position can be done remotely or in Phoenix, AZ, with a start date projected between April and July 2025.
