Job Description

Lone Rock Point is seeking a UX Analyst with a strong interest and capabilities in the research and design of engaging and innovative user experiences. This UX Analyst will be responsible for studying users’ needs and ensuring that clients’ goals align with usability standards, while providing both analytical and creative ideas for Customer Experience engagement. Candidates must have extensive experience in a fast-paced and innovative development environment, along with a thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities of the UX Analyst position include:

  • Collaborating on user experience planning.
  • Consulting with clients and various team members.
  • Leading meetings with clients to understand requirements.
  • Identifying capabilities/services for end users.
  • Researching and identifying existing and missing content to support system development.
  • Creating/designing wireframes, process flows, user personas, and journey maps.
  • Using storyboarding, task analysis, and user research tasks to capture user requirements.
  • Conducting user research activities such as usability testing and surveys.
  • Providing overview presentations and Q&A talks for various client teams.
  • Assisting with IT capabilities and support for meetings.

Requirements

Specific qualifications for the UX Analyst position include:

  • Trained in Customer Experience fundamentals.
  • 2 years of experience with O365 fundamentals including SPO, Power Apps, and Flow.
  • A portfolio demonstrating ability to research and design, including:
  • Experience with authored knowledge base articles.
  • Experience with customer journey maps.
  • Conducting usability tests, card sorts, field studies, and surveys.
  • Ability to create wireframes.
  • Experience with user interface design patterns and best practices.
  • Strong conceptualization and visual communication ability, including strong drawing skills for creating executive-level briefings and project milestone briefings.
  • Ability to listen to customers and gather requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of software project management, technology products, stacks, and development practices.
