AI Training Data Voice Recording (US & UK English only)
Project Overview:
We are seeking voice actors to contribute to AI training data. Please note that this project is solely for training purposes, and the recorded voices will not be used to create an AI voice likeness. We aim to record 5-7 finished hours of audio per participant in either US English or UK English accents (native speakers are not required, but a clear and strong accent is preferred).
Role Requirements:
- Age 18 or over
- Ability to speak in US English or UK English with a clear, expressive tone.
- Willingness to perform expressive character readings from provided scripts and delivering emotive performances.
- Ability to record in a sound-deadened room to meet audio specifications (see below)
Audition Process:
Number of Candidates: Seeking 10 individuals for auditions at present, but this will be expanded
Audition Requirements:
- Download the client’s recording app.
- Scripts will be provided within the app.
- Male candidates: 3 scripts to audition.
- Female candidates: 1 script to audition.
- Each script contains approximately 7-8 lines.
- Audition recordings should prioritise performance and expressiveness over audio quality. (you will use your phone to record)
- Auditions will be reviewed within 1-2 weeks.
Project Audio Specifications: (relevant to full project requirement only, and not the audition)
- Final Recordings: 48kHz, 32-bit.
- Recording Environment: Ideally in a sound-deadened room.
- Final Deadline: Selected candidates will have 1 week to complete the recordings after receiving the scripts.
Payment Details:
- Rate: $120 per finished hour of audio (not based on time spent recording).
Payment Timeline: Estimated 60 days from final submission.
