Founded in 2011, our client is a growing immigration law specialist and Registered Migration Advisor, providing their clients with quality immigration services. As one of the largest specialist immigration firms in Australia they have a track record of consistent growth and delivering on their clients needs, from initial consultations to sponsorship arrangements, visa, PR and citizenship applications and more complex matters.
About The Role
The SEO Specialist and Content Creator plays an important role in ensuring the business’ services consistently reach their target market by implementing strategic SEO initiatives that improve search rankings, increase organic traffic and enhance online visibility. Additionally, the role is responsible for creating content, updating and managing the website, ensuring the website and content are accurate, engaging, SEO-optimised and secure.
The SEO Specialist and Content Writer will work closely with the Marketing and Legal teams to produce content that reflects the latest developments in immigration law and firm updates.
Responsibilities include:
- SEO strategy and implementation
- Technical SEO and website optimisation
- Local SEO and Google My Business management
- Content writing and SEO copywriting
- Media searches for relevant news and content
- Analytics and reporting
- WordPress management
- Cyber security
RequirementsAbout You
To be successful in this role you will bring your proactive, can-do attitude and you will have:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing content and updates through WordPress
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in SEO with a track record of driving organic growth
- Proficiency in WordPress including themes, plugins and updates
- Excellent written and verbal English
- Expertise in keyword research, on-page optimisation and technical SEO
- Proficiency in SEO tools (inc. Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.)
- Experience developing and executing link-building strategies to improve domain authority
- Strong time management and organisation
- Attention to detail
- A collaborative approach to work
You will also:
- Be available to work 20-40 hours per week over 5 days (flexible scheduling available with majority of hours between 9:00am - 5:40 ACST Mon-Fri)
- Have a dedicated space to work from (100% work from home)
- Have suitable ancillary equipment (e.g. second monitor and peripherals)
- Have reliable internet and electricity connections (and suitable backups)
