Job Description

We are KNB Communications, an award-winning PR and marketing agency on a fast-paced journey that is growing and leading healthcare communications. We provide marketing and PR services for top healthcare technology and life sciences companies around the world. Our experts are renowned for moving minds and driving a better healthcare ecosystem for all. We are looking for a freelance/contract social media account manager to help manage the social media presence of 2-3 clients in the health and biotech industries.

Responsibilities

• Create timely and engaging content optimized for each platform and intended audience
• Create engaging and professional visuals that reflect the client and their brand
• Curate and comment on relevant content to establish thought leadership
• Execute social media strategy
• Aid in setting goals and objectives
• Manage and grow followers/community on each platform
• Monitor sites for customer service opportunities
• Initiate and engage in conversations on behalf of the clients
• Identify and work with industry influencers
• Analyze and report social media actions on a monthly basis for successes and new opportunities
• Benchmark against competitors
• Customize social media pages (e.g., LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram)

Requirements

• Knowledge of complex industries such as medical, healthcare, pharma, and B2B clients
• 2+ years of social media marketing experience
• Strong understanding of user-generated content management/marketing, and reputation management
• Working knowledge of social media paid advertising campaigns, including Facebook, LinkedIn, and X
• Proven social media management experience with Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, and similar platforms
• Knowledge of social media analytics software (e.g., HubSpot, Social Sprout, Meltwater, Hootsuite, Twitter & Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.)
• Strategic content creation and impeccable writing skills
• Exceptional time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple clients with changing priorities
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Knowledge and Experience

• Previous agency experience
• Strong personal involvement on social media is a plus
• Account management experience is preferred
• Influencer marketing experience a plus
• SEO knowledge
