Job Description

The School of Continuing and Lifelong Education (SCALE) aims to expand NUS’ lifelong learning offerings to support professionals, companies, and youths. SCALE offers a range of innovative education programs designed in collaboration with industry experts to ensure relevance and meet the lifelong learning needs of individuals. The role involves joining the SCALE-Global Business Unit as an Interactive Multimedia Designer on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will collaborate on developing digital content for eLearning.

Requirements

Academic & Professional Certification

  • A good bachelor’s degree/diploma in multimedia design, visual communication, or interactive storytelling from a reputable university; candidates without experience may also apply.
  • Strong English language proficiency and visual communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in design software from the Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Illustrator, Premiere Pro).
  • IT savvy and proficient in MS Office applications.

Experience & Attributes

  • Energetic, self-motivated, and creative individual who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented, and ambiguous work environment.
  • Competent in graphics design and layout.
  • Competent in 2D animation and digital video/audio editing.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • A strong team player, able to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
  • Resilient, resourceful, with good problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Experienced in creating multimedia content.
  • Basic programming skills (e.g., JavaScript) for developing xAPI or cmi5 packages are advantageous.
  • AR & VR development and/or UX/UI design experience will be an added advantage.
