Job Description

StyleSeat is seeking a creative, on-camera-savvy Content Creator to help tell our story on TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube Shorts. The ideal candidate will develop, film, and edit high-quality, on-brand short-form videos, while staying on top of trends and bringing innovative content ideas to life. The role involves collaboration with teams and capturing real-world content from beauty professionals and locations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Comfortable creating personality-driven content in front of the camera.
• Active on TikTok and Instagram with an understanding of trends.
• Proactive self-starter who can generate content ideas and execute them from start to finish.
• Skilled in video editing, with experience in CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar software.
• Willing to travel to salons and barbershops to capture content and interviews.
• Strong storytelling abilities to create engaging narratives in short-form content.
• Detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in content creation, social media marketing, or video production.
• Portfolio of past TikTok and Instagram Reels content (including links).
• Experience in beauty, wellness, fashion, or lifestyle industries is a plus.
• Knowledge of social media analytics and experience in optimizing content through insights.

Additional Information

Location: Remote

Job Type: Part-time/Contract; 20 hours a week

Compensation: Based on experience, maximum $60/hr
