Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, dedicated and skilled Digital Marketing Officer to cover maternity leave. This position is a Fixed Term role, offering 37 hours of work per week, located in Southampton, Hampshire, with a salary of up to Β£35,937 per annum. The vacancy will close in 14 days at 23:59 GMT. The role involves enhancing the brand and reputation of the College group through the delivery of high-quality, innovative, and effective digital marketing, ultimately supporting the recruitment of students and apprentices and engaging with employers in the South Hampshire region.

Requirements

Skills/Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience of digital marketing and creating innovative digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
  • Proven track record of strong digital content creation, tailored to suit the audience.
  • Experience in SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media.
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy, and best practices.
  • Keeping up to date with emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

  • GCSE A*-C/9-4 in English and Maths.
  • Relevant higher-level qualification (e.g., HND or Degree) or an apprenticeship with substantial industry experience in a similar role.

Ideal Attributes:

  • Ability to understand key markets and how to target them effectively.
  • Ability to articulate messages clearly and concisely in an engaging style via digital media channels.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet challenging deadlines.
  • Creative and logical thinking.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends on occasion when required.
