Job Description

Newscape Studios, Inc. is seeking Freelance Animators to join their creative team, responsible for creating content based on popular video games such as Fortnite, Minecraft, and original animations for their YouTube channels, which boast over 10 million total subscribers. The successful candidates will possess foreground animation skills and substantial knowledge in Toon Boom Harmony.

Requirements

• 2+ years of required experience with Toon Boom Harmony.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, After Effects, and Character Animator is a bonus.

• Ability to adapt to various workflows while maintaining established style formats per channel.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Excellent listening and time management skills.

• Comfortability in meeting deadlines and daily quotas.

• Strong attention to detail and consistency.

• A Demo Reel/ Portfolio is required to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Keep an organized and efficient workflow.

• Animate rigged characters in Toon Boom.

• Perform light compositing work (lighting and some effects).

• Experience in hand animation in Toon Boom is a plus but not required.

• Responsibilities may differ based on skill and experience.

Compensation and Work Environment

• Competitive pay: $880.00 per production week.

• This is a remote/work from home, Independent Contractor position.

• Artists with LLCs are preferred, but not required.
