Job Description

Responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, and debugging new product enhancements for commercial software products. The role requires delivering maintainable and reusable solutions that adhere to cyber security standards and application performance benchmarks. Candidates will be expected to embrace, implement, and promote test automation within the team and conduct code reviews for peers and junior team members. Additionally, participation in the evaluation of emerging technology and tools is necessary, along with a commitment to an agile mindset in software development, team collaboration, and open communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of related software development experience, including knowledge of Agile Scrum software development life cycle and software design principles such as SOLID, DI/IoC, and Continuous Integration.

• Experience with the full Microsoft technology stack, including .NET/C# (either .NET framework or .NET core), SQL Server, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, JSON/RESTful services, and Object Relation Mapping (ORM) tools such as Entity Framework or NHibernate. Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, SaaS, multi-tenancy application development, GIT, Confluence, and JIRA is also required.

• A proactive approach with a team player attitude is essential, as is the willingness to seek out information and solutions key to responsibilities. Strong work ethic and the ability to collaborate with other teams (UX, Enterprise Architecture, Quality Assurance, SRE, DevOps, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Information Security, and regional teams) across global time zones in a professional manner are crucial.

• Experience with front-end technologies including Single Page Applications (SPA), Angular, Bootstrap, and Typescript.

• Familiarity with JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX, along with experience in developing applications requiring internationalization and localization for global markets is preferred.

• Knowledge of Azure development and cloud computing is a plus, including Azure VM, Kubernetes, SQL Azure, and Batch.

• Experience with micro-services architecture and Test Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior Driven Development (BDD) is desired.
