Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Social Media Specialist to take ownership of a real estate brand’s entire social media presence. You’ll have the creative freedom to develop and implement engaging content strategies across multiple platforms, combining property showcase content with valuable market insights. Working directly with the business owner, you’ll have the autonomy to shape the brand’s digital voice while contributing to their market growth through strategic social media initiatives. This role offers the perfect blend of creative content creation and strategic marketing in the dynamic real estate sector.
Responsibilities
- Create and curate engaging daily content across multiple social media platforms
- Design and produce eye-catching short-form videos, reels, and TikToks that showcase properties and market insights
- Develop and maintain a consistent content calendar that aligns with business objectives
- Implement and manage email marketing campaigns to nurture client relationships
- Drive lead generation through strategic social media initiatives
- Identify and engage with relevant influencers to expand brand reach
- Monitor social media metrics and prepare performance reports
- Provide strategic recommendations for improving social media engagement
- Generate creative ideas for new content series and campaigns
- Maintain brand consistency across all digital communications
- Create minimum two high-quality posts per day across platforms
- Track and report on follower growth and engagement metrics
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management and content creation
- Strong portfolio demonstrating video editing and short-form video content skills
- In-depth understanding of current social media trends and best practices
- Proficiency with content creation tools, particularly Canva
- Experience with social media analytics and reporting
- Excellent written and visual communication abilities
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Available during Australian business hours
- Knowledge of or interest in real estate industry (preferred)
- Experience with lead generation through social media
- Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace
