Cloud Developer is needed in Richmond, United States.

One of our clients is seeking an experienced Azure Developer to join an agile development team that supports a range of mission-critical web and Windows applications for both internal and public-facing use. This is a fully remote opportunity.

The selected candidate will design, develop, maintain, and enhance applications on the Microsoft Azure platform, and work on integration with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and SaaS systems. The role demands a proactive developer comfortable with modern DevOps practices and cloud-native tools and services.

Candidates must have at least 3 years of documented Azure development experience and the ability to independently handle complex development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, code, and implement scalable cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure services.
• Work with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, App Services, AKS, and Azure SQL/Cosmos DB.
• Develop and manage cloud resources using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
• Create and consume RESTful APIs, apply identity and access management (IAM), and follow Azure security best practices.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Participate in Agile development cycles and collaborate with team members, architects, and business analysts.
• Monitor and optimize performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Contribute to DevOps practices including environment provisioning, automation, and security hardening.
