Job Description

Betches Media is looking for a creative, skilled, and hilarious college-based creator to help make engaging content for our Gen Z vertical, Send Help. This position involves generating original videos and posts that authentically capture the college experience, from late-night dining hall runs to finals season. The ideal candidate should be plugged into trends, obsessed with pop culture, and adept at making everyday college moments comedic and relatable.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Produce, shoot, edit, and appear in original Send Help videos (sketches, reels, TikToks, etc.)
• Craft in-feed posts and memes about the college experience
• Help source, edit, attain permission for, and schedule curated content
• Brainstorm and create trending lifestyle, political, and pop culture content
• Ideate content series for Send Help on IG, YouTube, and TikTok

Qualifications

• Experience in creating content for Instagram and TikTok
• Talent for producing, shooting, and editing videos
• Must be comfortable appearing/acting in videos
• Passionate about college life with an interest in creating college-focused content
• Strong ability to execute quick, low-lift social videos
• Knowledge and interest in pop culture, trends, and politics/news
• Proficiency in Canva
• Fluent in the culture of social media
• Must be currently enrolled in college and deeply familiar with campus life
• To be considered for this role, applicants must share a link to a TikTok or Reel showcasing their work within the on-campus college experience, highlighting their humor and creativity.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $25/hour for up to 14 hours per week.
