Job Description
We are looking for a talented Mid-level UX Designer to join our team of digital experts and critical specialists at THG plc. This role involves developing world-class UX solutions to support continued business growth and client wins across our high-profile eCommerce portfolio, which includes brands like Matalan, L’Oreal, and Coca Cola. You will work within one of our e-commerce platform workstreams to develop insight-driven experiences and improvements for our platform capabilities and user journeys.
THG is a fast-moving global technology group that specializes in taking brands directly to consumers through a comprehensive digital commerce ecosystem called THG Ingenuity. Our work encompasses technology, content creation, e-commerce, marketing, manufacturing, new product development, and logistics.
Requirements
• 2+ years of experience as a UX Design specialist in fast-paced technology environments.
• Direct experience in eCommerce and SaaS is advantageous.
• Experience in planning, conducting, and analyzing qualitative and quantitative research.
• Ability to leverage data to inform design decisions.
• Adaptable, resilient, proactive, and able to meet challenges head-on.
• Capacity to take ownership and drive initiatives to improve design processes.
• Solid background in human-centered design and expertise in user experience design processes, tools, and best practices.
• Proficiency in industry-standard digital design software, including Figma.
• Familiarity with design testing methods and research platforms for qualitative (e.g., UserZoom) and quantitative data (e.g., Google Analytics, Content Square) is an advantage.
Responsibilities
• Lead projects, ensuring clarity and collaboration among stakeholders.
• Utilize various UX methods to inform design decisions.
• Create detailed sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs across multiple devices and platforms.
• Conduct usability studies to gain insights for design decisions.
• Promote design and accessibility standards for consistency across work.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with project teams.
• Drive efficiency and quality in design processes.
• Share knowledge with other Product & UX team members.
