Job Description

We are looking for a Designer to join Stylist on a part-time basis (1 day a week) for a period of 12 months. Stylist, part of DC Thomson, is the UK’s leading media brand for women, engaging with 5 million UK women a month. Our mission is to support, uplift, and entertain women with compelling content and enriching experiences.

The Designer will create industry-leading design targeted at affluent women and advertisers. Responsibilities include designing social, Stylist+, and email assets across various Stylist franchises. We are in search of a dynamic, enthusiastic, and digital-savvy candidate passionate about solving creative problems.

Requirements

• Experience in designing creative, fun, and exciting digital imagery with a keen eye for detail.

• Highly organised and enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Proactive, solution-based attitude.

• Personable with strong communication skills and ability to forge strong relationships.

• Ability to represent the company professionally when attending shoots and liaising with external companies.

• Skilled in giving and receiving open feedback to cultivate a strong team culture.

• Professional team player with a positive and can-do attitude and capable of working well under pressure.

• Necessary software skills include Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, with experience in After Effects and Canvas Flow being preferable.

Additional Information

This is a part-time, temporary position (12-month fixed-term contract), working 1 day per week (every Friday).
