Job Description

The Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in bringing the marketing campaigns to life across the Retail and CRM channels for L’OCCITANE in the US and CANADA, creating and executing in-store collateral and direct mail from concept to completion. This role will report into the Senior Director, Creative and Content, and will work closely with the Creative, Retail, and Marketing teams to ensure a holistic experience.

Responsibilities

  • Create marketing materials for the Retail, CRM, and Merchandising channels, including but not limited to: Window KVs, Retail POS, Flagship Store Windows, In-Store Fixtures, Direct Mail, and In-Store Videos.
  • Conceptualize creative direction while respecting international vision, with guidance from the Senior Director.
  • Create in-store collateral for store support.
  • Develop presentations and mockups for internal reviews.
  • Package and send final files to the printer, and manage the retouching and color reviews with outside vendors.
  • Manage local photography shoots for promotional kits as needed for campaigns and sales activations.
  • Present strategic creative solutions to meet brand objectives and differentiate the brand in the beauty industry.
  • Own the B2B channel by creating materials such as packaging, POS, catalogs, and trade show collateral.
  • Maintain a schedule of deliverables to ensure timely reviews and releases.
  • Communicate processes to key stakeholders and coordinate with them to manage workload.
  • Maintain and elevate the brand aesthetic across all touchpoints and perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Ensure synergies between retail and CRM channels in the US/CA for all creatives.
  • Produce mailers that outperform the previous year and improve time management by prioritizing urgent requests and negotiating deadlines when necessary.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience (either in an agency or in-house creative department).

Skills

  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Experience with After Effects or other video software; Figma experience is a plus.
  • A customer-first outlook with an interest in the beauty industry and industry trends.
  • Ability to self-manage multiple projects and ensure timely completion.
  • Ability to manage others, provide feedback, and delegate tasks as necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to articulate both creative vision and tactical details.
  • Strong presentation capabilities; adept in both independent and collaborative work.
  • Photoshoot experience is a plus.

Physical & Travel Requirements

  • Must be able to work in office on a hybrid model, 3 days a week.
  • Less than 10% travel required, with the possibility of local travel to stores, studios, or vendors.
