Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Front End Web Developer within our IT team, who will help in maintaining our position as one of the top service companies to work for in the UK.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities

• Utilize Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups.
• Design responsive, user-centric interfaces that adhere to usability and accessibility best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth design asset transitions.
• Conduct user research, gather requirements, and convert findings into intuitive UI/UX solutions.
• Incorporate mobile-first methodologies for consistent experiences across devices.
• Maintain and evolve design systems for consistency and scalability of UI components.
• Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends and methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in Figma or similar UI/UX design platforms (e.g., Adobe XD).
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, including layout, typography, and colour theory.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct user research and implement design feedback.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven time management abilities and meeting project milestones.
• Ability to commute to either our London or Yeovil offices.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience in creating and maintaining design systems or style guides.
• Familiarity with user testing methodologies and analytical tools (e.g., Hotjar, Google Analytics).
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (for collaboration, not coding).
• Exposure to Agile environments and version control workflows.
