Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in the IT industry with substantial experience in JAVA/J2EE and RESTful web services development.

• Experience in building optimized, scalable, and efficient applications.

• Proficient in troubleshooting and debugging to optimize performance.

• Development and coding of backend components, connecting applications to web services.

• Ability to explore new technology solutions to enhance functionality continually.

• Strong backend experience is essential, with security expertise as a plus.

• Comfortable improving legacy systems and code while building new features and applications.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Direct experience with databases, specifically MySQL and PostgreSQL, and their application integration.

• Mandatory experience with injection frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot.

• Solid experience with the Java stack and build tools like GIT for code quality and coverage.

• Experience working in AWS cloud environments.

• Experience developing new and enhancing existing features, as well as investigating and resolving defects.

• Proficient in designing and developing web-based applications and backend services.

• Adherence to internal coding standards, development processes, and design best practices.

• Commitment to quality through thorough testing and peer reviews of work.

• Experience with unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).

• Familiarity with Agile development processes and Scrum methodologies using JIRA.

• Strong communication and writing skills to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
