Job Type: Part-Time, Freelance/Contract (Primarily weekends, potential for other days)

Proteyns is a fresh, healthy, high-protein fast-food brand operating within Bootstrapped Cafe, a vibrant co-working and meeting space on MG Road, Bangalore. We’re launching an exciting Instagram Reels strategy to build brand awareness, showcase our delicious food, and drive traffic to our cafe.

We are seeking a creative and skilled Part-Time Videographer/DOP to film engaging, high-quality “Instagram Reels/YT Shorts” primarily focused on our food offerings and the cafe environment. You will work closely with our Content Strategist and Presenter to bring our scripts and storyboards to life visually.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate camera equipment (camera, lighting, basic audio) for on-site filming sessions at Bootstrapped Cafe (MG Road).
• Film high-quality video footage for Instagram Reels, following provided scripts and shot lists.
• Collaborate with the presenter and strategist to achieve the desired visual style and composition.
• Focus on capturing appetizing food shots, dynamic lifestyle scenes, and the ambiance of the cafe.
• Ensure proper lighting and stable shots suitable for vertical video format.
• Organize and deliver raw footage promptly after each shoot.
• Primary filming days will be weekends, with potential flexibility for additional shoots if needed.
• We will provide the camera and equipment, but if you have your own filming equipment (like camera suitable for social media video, basic lighting, tripod) is a plus.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in videography, particularly for social media platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
• Strong understanding of camera operation, lighting techniques (natural and artificial), and shot composition.
• Experience filming food content is a strong plus.
• Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and punctual, with guaranteed availability for Sunday shoots.
• Portfolio showcasing relevant video work (please provide link).

Bonus Points:

• Experience with basic video editing.
• Familiarity with the Bengaluru food scene.
