My journey in the field of design first began as a summer intern in the Department of Information and Public Relations, Government of the British Virgin Islands. It was there where I first learned to layout simple pamphlets and brochures using Page Maker 6. Fast forward 20+ years of working in face-paced, demanding, ever-changing marketing/creative departments and you have a seasoned design specialist and marketer with solid video editing, photography, social media and digital advertising skills added to my arsenal. I am passionate about solving business problems with good design and effective marketing strategy. My commitment to upholding visual brand standards, solid design principles and proven marketing concepts is unwavering. I am a firm believer that no advertising, marketing or brand campaign can achieve success without first doing the hard work of understanding your customers’ needs and, most of all, their pain points. With strong interpersonal skills as part of my toolset, they allow me to relate to individuals from the front desk to the CEO’s office. I take time to listen and endeavor to implement solid feedback when considering final decisions and paths forward.
