    uniE621 Borja Moronta Ceramics
This project involves the design of a ceramic boutique for ceramist Borja Moronta, located in Edinburgh. The space is organized across two levels: Ground Floor: This floor features the main boutique, fitted with built-in shelves to display ceramic pieces. A cosy meeting and work area has also been designed, along with a payment area. Basement: The lower level houses the ceramist’s workshop and storage. This space is dedicated to ceramic creation and is equipped with the necessary facilities to offer pottery classes for future ceramists. The design combines practicality and elegance, highlighting the artisanal quality of the ceramics and creating an inspiring, welcoming atmosphere for clients and students alike. designer interiordesigner sketchup V-Ray photoshop indesign 3Dvisualizer 3Ddesigner graphicdesigner

The space features walls with niches of varied shapes, echoing traditional architecture. These niches, characteristic of thick walls in the past, were used to cool the interior in summer and to store food in winter. This approach draws inspiration from the ancient art of ceramics, aiming to incorporate a functional element while adding cultural depth to the design of the space. interiordesigner sketchup V-Ray photoshop indesign 3Dvisualizer 3Ddesigner graphicdesigner designer

Borja’s ceramics are distinguished by their simple lines, reflecting the creator’s state of mind at the time of design. The pieces, inspired by the colours of the Scottish landscape, adopt a minimalist style that enhances the natural beauty of the ceramics. The design aims to capture the essence of Scottish nature, using organic materials and a colour palette that evokes earth and sky tones. designer interiordesigner sketchup V-Ray photoshop indesign 3Dvisualizer 3Ddesigner graphicdesigner designer

This basement area is intended both for the creation and storage of Borja’s ceramics, as well as for teaching his courses. The design follows the same philosophy that characterizes the rest of the project, seeking a warm and welcoming balance that encourages creativity and learning. The layout and materials reinforce a functional atmosphere while remaining harmonious and inspiring. graphicdesigner designer interiordesigner sketchup V-Ray photoshop indesign 3Dvisualizer 3Ddesigner
uniE621 The Harbour Cafe & Bar
This project involves the creation of a café located in the historic port of Granton, in Edinburgh. The café is designed across two levels: Ground Floor: This floor features the main bar, offering a selection of coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and salads. Here, customers can find the payment and waiting area for orders, which can be taken to go or enjoyed on-site. Additionally, there is a small prep kitchen, restrooms, and a cosy dining area with comfortable seating where guests can savour their orders in a welcoming setting. First Floor: Upstairs, a mezzanine provides additional seating with more tables. Both levels offer breathtaking views of the port and sea through large windows, creating a bright, open atmosphere that invites relaxation. graphicdesigner sketchup designer interiordesign photoshop V-Ray sketchup
