Hi, my name is Ricardo Venâncio, and I’m an illustrator, storyboard artist and sequential author, based in Lisbon, Portugal. I started working in 1999, as an animation storyboard artist, and since then, I expanded my experience into mediums such as editorial illustration, concept design, storyboard for advertisement, and graphic novels and webcomics. I specialize in character and story driven visual narratives, be it in illustration, comic books, storyboards, and concept design. I have a wide range of styles, going from a more realistic approach to a cartoon stylization with ease, depending on the demands of the job.
