Richard is a freelance musician, educator, composer, orchestrator, and music producer based in Los Angeles. This love of music creativity also fuels his compositional interests. Although primarily trained in classical and jazz mediums, Richard enjoys learning about new music and has continued his music studies at LACC learning about Latin and West African music. This life–long learner mindset has enabled Richard to become an effective educator in teaching and growing students to become the best they can be. As a music producer, Richard has recorded and mixed his personal projects and those of his students and peers. To improve on these skills, he went to LACC to complete a certificate in Music Technology and hopes to learn about cinema sound while growing in his other skills. Richard also maintains a private studio that offers both individual and group lessons.
