His editing credits include PBS specials *The Bomb* and *Pearl Harbor: USS Oklahoma — The Final Story*; several episodes of science series NOVA, including "Secrets in Your Data", “Decoding COVID-19” (Columbia-duPont award winner), and “Black Hole Apocalypse”; the America’s Hidden Stories series and documentary feature *The Rivals* (dir. Kirk Wolfinger) for The Smithsonian Channel; *Titanic: 100 Years in 3D*, *Tougher in Alaska*, and *Deep Sea Detectives* for History; and *Ice Cold Gold* for Animal Planet. In collaboration with Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and Marine Imaging Technologies, Ryan joined several expeditions as workflow consultant, DIT, and on-site editor. His travels have taken him to the Titanic wreck site, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, the Galapagos Islands, and the Sea of Cortez.
