Sarah Hade is a media composer specializing in writing captivating cinematic music. Her music has been described as ‘atmospheric’, dreamy and full of emotion’ with a ‘truly unique sensitivity’. Sarah’s style is primarily defined by a unique sonic palette with clear influences of Thomas Newman, Hans Zimmer, and Alexandre Desplat. Her substantial experience across various genres from classical to electronic and gospel has fostered her capability to create a wide range of original and captivating compositions.
Sarah’s music and arrangements have been performed by the National Symphony Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in venues including the Royal Albert Hall and the National Concert Hall. Her latest work includes scoring for a Spaghetti Western short film ‘Vengeance of the Brotherhood’ (2023) along with a new YouTube series: ‘Truth Digital’. Working as an assistant for renowned film and video game composers Eímear Noone and Craig Stuart Garfinkle, she has assisted on a range of projects. In 2023, Sarah co-arranged and co-orchestrated the ‘Nintendo Suite’ with Eímear Noone. This had its first world premiere at the BBC NOW Gaming Concert 2023 performed by the the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and at the Video Games Music in Concert’ performed by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra (May 2023). Its latest performance was by The Beethoven Orchestra Bonn in March 2024.
