Riccardo is a London based Director and Editor working in documentary and fiction. He has worked across all sectors of the industry for over 15 years and has experience with making commercial and arthouse projects. He was mentored by the founder of Salon Pictures, Nick Taussig (McQueen, Churchill, Audrey) and then worked for Salon as a Development Producer and In House Creative developing, producing, editing and selling film and TV until Salon folded in January 2023. He is now freelancing as a Director, Producer, Editor and is a full BAFTA member and BIFA voter. Riccardo’s style is a mix of free flowing and beautiful considered compositions. His work has been described as intimate, sensitive and insightful. It mostly focuses on the human condition and raising awareness and he has a keen interest in character driven stories, he loves to try and understand how people work and what makes them tick. He often uses metaphors and poetic imagery while focusing on the emotional side of the human psyche. He creates immersive, cinematic work for wider audiences.
