Summary of Experience 2022 July – October: I worked with the company Examfly to help them create and animated presentations to help students study. The software used was an online software called Powtoon. My roles were that of an animator, I was given a script and would have to match it while also adding my own knowledge of timing and animation to make the most of the software. While sticking to the script I was given creative control to add to the script as I saw fit. While doing this, I was also given audio to cut and convert into the appropriate files to upload onto Powtoon. All this while meeting deadlines and attending group crits to give and receive feedback on the weeks work. 2022 April-July: I worked as a junior animator in FlixTV DAC. Working on a children’s TV series. During this role I was given scenes to key frame and animate them using Adobe animate. 2022 February-April: I was interning in audio-visual and animation in Studio Pedrita based in Lisbon. While over there I was working on multiple projects, which ranged from editing images, animations, decal designs for tiles and nft’s and helped install an art exhibition in the MAAT gallery in Lisbon. Studio Pedrita is a studio that would take old or odd tiles and turn them into pieces of art. While working here it helped improve my view on art and communication skills. 2021-2022: I worked remotely with The Survivors Trust to make short, animated clips for their new website. My roles were that of Animator, Character Designer and Video Editor all for their new website. This job has further improved my time management and organisation skills as we would have weekly check in’s while also keeping on top of the files and uploads, while keeping everyone informed. The whole process was carried out in the Adobe Suite, mainly Photoshop and Premiere. 2020-2021: I interned remotely with Kinergy; a charity based in Bristol. During this internship I created a short animation to raise awareness for Kinergy. I have worked in project management and all different areas of the pipeline. While working on this animation I designed and illustrated the characters and backgrounds, developed the storyboard, and produced the animatic and animation. I have also worked on my time management by setting and meeting deadlines and attending meetings weekly. I have collaborated with members of the charity, such as the CEO, a designer, a marketer, and a sound engineer, which helped my communication skills as I would have to explain my work and the direction the animation was going. I also received feedback and critiques on the project while also advising Kinergy on certain changes to help them achieve the most out of the animation.
