Shy Wry is an independent artist from Himachal Pradesh, India. He aspires to connect with people with his music. Starting from the age of six, he practiced various musical instruments as guitar, harmonium, harmonica and flute. Briefly, he got professional training in hindustani classical and then started composing independently at the age of fourteen. His music can't be put into specific genres but it's a result of amalgamation of western influences with the bollywood music. He is deeply inspired by the bollywood music of the 70s and 80s. That is where we get to see several influences of such music in his art. While growing up, he listened to a variety of artists as Chopin, RD Burman, Ella Fitzgerald, Miles Davis, Linkin Park, A$AP Rocky, Stevie Wonder and the list never ends. Today, he looks forward in shaping the sound of India and the listening tastes of the audience. His latest single 'Arz' is out on all major streaming platforms and do give it a listen.
