    In this project, I designed 3 vinyl record covers. The genres selected were based on how trendy they have been the past few years, such as dream pop, post-hardcore, and psychedelic. I created a branding and website where the records would be displayed for purchase. Additionally, bonus merchandise was included when these limited edition vinyls were ordered in bulk. This project’s goal was to promote the timeless beauty of vinyls and the support of small businesses who take the time to make detailed and fun packaging.     Matcha Book is a carefully crafted, high quality matcha. It stands out for its succulent taste, balancing the line of not being too sweet or bland. This mixture is not pre sweetened and rids you of regarding it as a guilty pleasure; on the contrary, it enhances your daily life. The newfound alertness and elation you will ingest in addition to the matcha will improve your focus for the next book you find yourself reading, whether for leisure or academics. Matcha and books make for a far more delightful, relaxing experience when combined. I chose to do a more free form, line art-inspired style for the cup and book design to illustrate the natural flow that occurs when the two concepts of matcha and books combine. I offer two slightly varied options to showcase how elements of the logo are flexible yet still convey the same intention. Additionally, I stuck with a soothing color palette of green and gray tones to reflect the environment and used a sans serif font with a scripted edge so that it serves the purpose of being both legible and intriguing. Urban college students will feel the most at home in this well-lit contemporary shop.
