Welcome to SYMPNEA music project! Where the ancient meets the modern. We blend the enchanting sounds of the ancient Greek lyre with cinematic landscapes and the raw power of rock and metal music. Our compositions niche are: orchestral music compositions, ambient music landscapes and powerful and raw music rock journeys. Our music explores deep philosophical concepts, existentialism, and the transcendence of space and time, all inspired by rich mythology. We work with a blend of multiple music genres, instruments, orchestral, electronic, ambient, to create music that feels cinematic and layered with meaning. Our mission is to tell stories through sound, and we aim to collaborate with creatives in the video game and film industries to bring these themes to life. Sympnea is consisted of three members: Anthi Bozoviti, Rafaela Tsoi and Dimitris Giannopoulos. The music style of Sympnea is modern progressive metal with orchestral and electronic sounds accompanied by traditional Ancient Greek Lyre and piano. Guitarist, lyricist & composer Anthi Bozoviti initially founded this project as a solo artist during December of 2021. Later, songwriter & vocalist Rafaela Tsoi joined the project on April of 2022. During September of 2022, pianist, bassist, and music engineer Dimitris Giannopoulos joined the project as well. “Sympnea” is a Greek word meaning the identification of opinions and attitudes between people who are united by common ties or pursuits. The essence of Sympnea project is all about existentialism, questions about life and the expansion of human consciousness. Sympnea’s sound is a unique blend of music textures and sound compositions that create a cinematic and atmospheric vibe that travels throughout time and space.
