I began my career in South Africa, working with agencies such as KSDP Pentagraph and TBWA, eventually leading creative teams and receiving recognition from D&AD, Loeries and The One Show. In 2002, I co-founded Visual Intelligence with artist Christopher Radcliffe, blending 3D and brand design. That partnership evolved into Brand Republica – a Lisbon-based studio working with clients in the UK, US, Australia and South Africa. After years of building identities for others, I’m returning to one of my own. I’ve come full circle – back to painting, drawing and image-making – and I’m now launching an online gallery to share original works and limited edition prints. The work is rooted in memory, culture and lived experience, shaped by time spent in Mozambique, Johannesburg and now Lisbon. My practice sits somewhere between intuition and intention – between art, design and strategy. I move fluidly between pixels and paint, instinct and structure.
