The Sluagh

This was for a project in my graphic design course, where I created a bestiary of monsters that people used to believe that roamed in Ireland during Halloween. One of the monsters that I illustrated is called a Sluagh (Sloo-ah). The Headless Horseman

This was a personal project of mine. I wanted to experiment with different textures when illustrating and at the time it was close to Halloween so I decided to draw the Headless Horseman. Instead of going with my usual brushes I went with a sketch pencil in Procreate. I used the sketch pencil for the Headless Horseman and a chalk like brush for the chair. Another Soul, Another Life

This was a small personal project of mine which involves my original character Hollow. At first I wanted to make a small 3 slide comic, then it turned into a 10 slide comic. And now it is a comic reel! It looks very similar to a webcomic layout but I have added sound effects and music in the background. This is one of the panels I illustrated for this comic reel. Where Hollow discovers someone's soul next to an alleyway and calls his boss, the chief/captain of the police. The story behind this is a bird who cannot fly due to an accident that happened when he was younger. Most of them would receive an earth spirit or power but this creature received a fire spirit. The whole tribe was in fear as they thought the fire spirit was too wild and would hurt the tribe. So the tribe came to a decision and they banished the woodlander.
