The first time he held a Yak Bak as a child, Chris Norton knew he was a sound nerd. A combined love of capturing/manipulating sound and piano performance saw him through a degree in Commercial Music and Music Technology, and onto the stage with Zappa Plays Zappa and Cirque Du Soleil. After a decade of touring the world, his career was unceremoniously halted when Covid forced him off the road. Not one to sit idly, he saw this as an opportunity to redirect his career towards creating sounds and music for his other great love: video games. A toolbox brimming with musicianship, audio experience, instinct, and on-the-spot creativity meant a deep dive into composition and sound design was fast and fruitful.
