I am a Portuguese singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Manchester, UK. My experience in music started strongly influenced by the rock and indie genres. I formed a project in Portugal in 2008 to play original songs which lasted for 6 years and achieved some great things such as winning a national live band competition, recording an album in a professional studio solely with money that we made from shows and selling the first few EPs, playing in many venues throughout the country. In 2016 whilst I began writing songs in English and learning about British culture, I was playing covers in function bands to save money for my next step. I also delved into music production because I wanted to be able to produce my own songs. I decided that I needed to embrace new challenges and I moved to the UK in 2018, I knew this experience would transform me as an artist, songwriter, musician, and most importantly as a human being. In 2020, during the pandemic I finally started to release music in a different country and in a different language, I found myself as an artist little by little and this was the start of my journey as a songwriter in the UK. Throughout my educational experience, I had guitar, singing and theory lessons in a music school back when I was in Portugal. I have recently completed a songwriter degree at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute in 2022 and as of now, I am trying to grow as an independent singer-songwriter and producer and make it a sustainable career. I work within the genres of Rock, Indie, Pop, Hip-hop, RnB, Jazz and Soul.
