    uniE613 "For you and me"
A song by a songwriter who also performed in the recording. I was asked to make a song be ready for distribution. I scored the strings in the 2nd verse. I played all of the electric guitar parts. I played the organ. I san some backup vocals. uniE613 "Only the children know" [live acoustic]
This is a multifaced project. Tim Grivass the Music Publisher (DAW-LAB publishing), so the plan is to release a live acoustic version and a studio recording version to follow. This particular release was performed in one take. I recorded the audio into my DAW and treated it as a normal recording, mastering it to the industry standard for streaming services. This will not be a public release until November 9th, 2024. The Spotify link is not available at the time I wrote this information Here is the YouTube link https://youtu.be/lfdPhIa8Y20?si=tUXC-bs9DuxwAuij
    uniE613 "I know that girl
A team of songwriters approached me to develop their work into a releasable song for distribution. It involved using my learned skills with the necessary tools. My focus was on getting the song to the finish line. In some situations, I had to contribute musically. I performed on several tracks such as Rythm guitar, drums, and bass guitar In this project, I split between on-site work and remote engineering. The songwriter was the vocalist, so it was challenging to get an acceptable result. They also play some chugging guitar, so timing and vocal pitch were both found to need work. I fixed the vocal notes and the timing from the writer's guitar work so it locked into the tempo map. I brought in an electric guitar player to play the guitar solo. One of the most important parts of the song is the intro. I desired a wall of sound. I am happy with the results. There is plenty of separation in the mix, and the master meets all the specifications required by the streaming services. I enjoyed this project very much. uniE613 "A Place Called Joes"
“A place called Joes” The project started by just messing around with friends in early 2022. It was an informal song meant to represent a CAMPFIRE sing-along.” Tim Grivas was asked to mix engineer the song written by 4 writers. The idea for the song came about while the friends were sitting around a campfire. This collaboration had been in the works for a few years (before Grivas’ involvement). No professionals were a part of the performances. The producers were to be the writers. Grivas had a supporting role in recording and mixing. This was Grivas’ first involvement at the beginning of yodayoda. This project raised awareness of how involved it can be with a very small team. Grivas’s role mainly started in technical and Audio DAW operations, but it raised some important flags about improving production value in the future. This is when Grivas established the framework for all yodayoda album art before yodayoda formed as yodayoda Collective. yodayoda Collective is part of yodayoda LLC Corporation. Grivas performed the Drums and Bass Guitar We keep this in our catalog as a reminder of where we started and show our transparency in our efforts to give to others. It is a great story in the lyrics and represents how to have fun and not take things so seriously. uniE613 Project "yodayoda Collective"
The yodayoda Collective project. This started in 2022. Tim Grivas, with two other partners, formed a collective based on the need to provide services to support songwriters. The prominent services most cherished by songwriters were recording, mixing, mastering, and distributing their works. The collective is formed as a not-for-profit membership that shall not incur any costs to the songwriter. Since 2022, the collective has released five works under the label yodayoda. Although we wish yodayoda were a large team of individuals, it boils down to Grivas’ vision. 85% of all effort put into achieving these goals was Tim grivas, with great effort from the other 2 directors. The other 2 directors’ roles are business, legal, and membership management. The heart and soul of the rest of the activity takes place in Grivas’ Music Lab Studio The expectations ramped up the need to produce professional results almost immediately. Due to the heavy workload and drive, Tim Grivas honed in on recording, mixing, mastering, and distribution as lead engineer. These types of projects from the members rely on efficient and collaborative work to achieve yodayoda’s goals. This project's scope was Tim Grivas's innovation, embracing readily available tools and technology. The entire endeavor was focused on recording as many songwriters as possible while the collective’s membership gained traction. The number of releases to date do not reflect the number of recordings but shows the effort to manage traction and energy to the big picture. Tim Grivas knows that working together and collaborating is the key to success hence the creation of yodayoda Collective This project is posted as one of the biggest works Grivas has been involved in in his entire career.
