Vaishali Sachdeva, also known as V, is an international student from India, a country rich in culture and diversity. She made history as the first-ever Miss South Asian Gem Nova Scotia, a title that reflects her commitment to achieving new milestones. Since childhood, acting has been her passion, and she began her professional journey with the Newcomer's Project, touring schools across Nova Scotia to amplify the voices of immigrants and refugees. Vaishali also showcased her talent as a performer in the Halifax Fringe Festival. Her journey extends beyond acting. Vaishali is the recipient of the prestigious Anthony Law Scholarship at Saint Mary’s University, awarded in recognition of her visual arts and co-curiculars. She proudly represented Canada on the global stage as a presenter at the 2024 Enactus World Cup, where her team pitched innovative solutions to global challenges. From acting, dancing, pageantry, and modelling to entrepreneurship, public speaking and presenting, Vaishali is a multifaceted individual. She firmly believes, "It’s not about the life you get, it’s all about the life you create!"
