Acqua San Bernardo organized a monthly feature called «S.Bernardo Art Series», with the art direction by Didier Falzone, in which an artist creates his/her own concept related to water with freedom. Vasty’s concept was a “pure” tribute to the Memphis movement, creating a fluid still life world, full of patterns, geometrical elements, abstract shapes with and without colour, harmonising the S.Bernardo’s new bottle in.

My Trip
This project started when I was returning home by train after visiting my family, who I hadn't seen in a long time.
I was inspired not only by the long journey and nostalgia that came to mind when remembering those great times, but also by the fluid shapes of the amazing Bob Dylan Poster by Milton Glaser.
I decided to start creating something that represented that particular moment and explore some hand drawings without losing “that momentum” and of course using a colorful universe which has always made me happy.

In honor of my grand father, Vicente, I created this eclectic display typeface that has an abundance of color and smooth motion. It offers a nice balance between thick and thin lines, and challenges the reader with its unusual shapes. It has a 6-color palette but works equally well when this is brought back to 3 or 4 colors for a simpler aesthetic.

Travelling always brings unexpected experiences and changes. In 2016 during a trip between Buenos Aires, Barcelona and New York, the idea of this system of 18 posters emerged. Using the 3 letter IATA code of different airports as an excuse to play between experimental typography, geometry shapes and bold colors that ended up having its own language.
