Musician/Writer: compositions for orchestra, solos and smaller ensembles, studying counterpoint and writing Since the pandemic preparing for a musicological comparative study. Mostjy as a self-taught I specialize in Early Music interpretation, specially Bach on keyboard. Have been applying early interpretation techniques in my voice and string lessons from beginners on, making a distinction between modern and early styles. The early techniques help with a beautiful an brilliant sound production from the beginning. As a music teacher I've coached string Ensembles and cello-piano duos and have accompanied students in recitals, sometimes as drop-in. In recent times I've taught mostly strings and voice, even though I also teach piano. I'm a cellist (unfortunately currently without a cello). However, I do have a viola and a violin to use as needed. I was in the US for almost two decades, but I'm currently in Brazil. I've sung in different Early style choirs and have played in different sizes of orchestras, including US and Brazilian gig symphonies. In much earlier years I've also been a singer-songwriter, and have performed as a pianist in a rock band and in a prize winning play as also arranger, in southern Brazil. In the last decade I have performed four compositions at the piano at a Brazilian XXI century Music festival, in two of its seasons. And just before the pandemic, Brazilian "Chorinho", as solo player on the cello with two groups, in a Choro Festival. -- I've been teaching remotely since 2020. Currently I have voice students from Brazil, and from the US at Lessonface, and as of last year, Lessonpal. -- Started writing non-music articles, memoirs, and short stories in the 1st semester of 2024. Looking to start publishing. Interests: Directing (and/or participating in) a group of musicians who would cooperate in the performance of my compositions and Earlier styles. -- This group may contribute not only as players, and may be as large as a symphony, since I have music for such, but which cooperation may sometimes be as to perform duets, trios, and ensembles of different sizes and formations. So, it's more than a group, it is an ensemble which may shrink or extend. Performance of my sketch type choreography.
