Yen is an illustrator, painter, and educator from Hong Kong. She was previously employed as a full-time Assistant Lecturer at the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Kwun Tong) from 2022 to 2024, where she supervised students pursuing a Diploma in Foundation Studies - Design at the Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI). She completed her first degree, a Bachelor of Arts with Honours, at Birmingham City University in 2019, and received her second degree, a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), from Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) in 2021. Moreover, her graduation project was awarded the Chinese Painting Prize, organized by the Sun Museum. Yen is skilled in using Adobe software (Illustrator, Photoshop, with basic knowledge of Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and Premiere) to create 2D illustrations such as portraits, animals, and landscapes.
