I am an Armenian graphic illustrator and comics artist currently based in Edinburgh. The infinite possibilities to tell one story through the combination of pictures and words excite me to explore the limitations of both the medium and my practice. I recently celebrated a significant milestone with the publication of my debut graphic novel, funded by a grant from Creative Armenia and the European Union, which was also the subject of my solo exhibition in Yerevan. This achievement highlights my ability to see projects through from concept to completion. Having recently graduated with First Class Honours in Illustration from the University of Edinburgh, I have developed the technical expertise and creative vision necessary to create illustrations that clearly communicate and visualize ideas. I have experience working as an in-house and freelance illustrator/designer, creating illustrations for merchandise design, online advertising, physical advertising, children's picture books, publishing, editorial illustration, and more.
