Yessenia Calderon is an animator and character designer. She born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Yessenia currently writes, creates, and produces her own original work while working in various capacities in the areas of project management and graphic design. Yessenia’s previous animation film, “CO-KEE!” was released in the Summer of 2021 and has received more than a dozen awards worldwide. She was also a Sound Designer in the live action short film, CHISMOSAS. One of Yessenia’s upcoming projects is KNIGHTLIGHTS & TEDDY BEARS where she is the Assistant Director and Head of Animation on the film.
