Online Forum as preamble to educational bigger project

UI Designer is needed in Barcelona, Spain.

We are a startup working on an educational app. The product-platform concept is in a highly mature stage after years of home-made prototypes and plenty of research. Yet, we are only getting started as a company.

We have accomplished ample seed funding to run an extensive independently run market research - which is already underway -, and to develop a fully working prototype.

While this market research is taking place, we want to start building a side-project, which is still related to the main platform project. This is intended as a way to get the company started with less pressure, and to be able to make mistakes before the real stuff. Truth is we are novice entrepreneurs, so we have a lot to learn.

For this very first stage we are looking for a UX designer to develop a forum platform. We already built a working prototype, which only really served the purpose of validating the concept.

Candidates should be based in Barcelona and have the intention of being there for the next two years. We are flexible about remote work but less so for the first 6-9 months, partly because we are novice, and also because we believe setting the right culture is crucial for the success of this endeavor. We believe that remote work could jeopardise this.
