Job Description

Visual Country is currently looking for a Junior Stop Motion Animator & Video Editor for an upcoming project. Our company is a digital agency producing the highest quality videos, photography and digital content for the world’s leading brands. We have worked with over 250 major brands, including Google, Pinterest, Clinique, American Airlines, Uber and Neutrogena. We are seeking a JR Stop Motion Animator with strong editing capabilities for a one time project, with the possibility of future projects. Candidates must have a strong focus in stop motion animation, editing, lighting set-up, concepting, and set fabrication for short-form video content. Experience with armatures is not required, but a plus. $250/day for 10 hour day. Half day $125 - 5 hours.

Responsibilities

• Photographing and animating stop motion puppet on table top
• Video compositing, rotoscoping, masking and key framing
• Lighting set up and design
• Set building and prop fabrication
• Concept ideation
• Photography retouching
• Color Grading
• Sound Design

Requirements

• 1-3 years of related work
• Agency experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong ability to multitask and work well under pressure/tight deadlines
• Any sound editing or musical background is a plus
• Fusion, and Da Vinci programs experience a plus

Education

Bachelor’s (Preferred)

Experience

• Dragonframe: 1 year (Preferred)
• video editing: 2 years (Preferred)
