About the Job

We’re looking for an Unreal Engine Render Consultant to help us on a project to project basis. This is a short term 1099 contractor position. Work with our creative directors and 3D design team on a highly iterative real-time production workflow to produce 3D content for marketing needs and help clients visualize and make decisions during the creative process. Develop detailed 3D scenes and generate cinematic photo realistic images and videos, and optimize assets for virtual tours of our experiential projects.

Responsibilities

  • Translating concept designs, developing detailed 3D scenes and environments to produce exceptional high-fidelity 3D content to support various concepts
  • Collaborate with 3D / Spatial Designers to ideate and implement different look and feels of environments, structures, 3D assets, and more
  • Convert and retouch textures and materials, and utilize path tracing methods to achieve photo realistic environments
  • Continuously improve the 3D visualization production pipeline that enables seamless collaboration within 3D Design department and across other creative departments

Desired Qualifications & Skills

  • Completion of bachelor’s degree in architecture, game and entertainment design, or related fields
  • 1+ years of experience with Unreal Engine in either professional or educational environment
  • Experience producing architectural visualizations is strongly desired; modeling, texturing, lighting, cameras, rendering, post-processing for architectural scenes
  • Proficiency in Unreal Engine, Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro for compositing and editing
  • Working knowledge of Blender, Houdini, Zbrush, Maya, Nuke, Substance Painter and Designer a plus
  • Advanced understanding of scale and composition techniques with a strong foundation in visual storytelling
  • Basic understanding of architectural drawings
  • Collaborative, self-motivated, positive, receptive and responsive to feedback
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and effectively meet deadlines at expected quality
  • Proven organizational abilities and attention to detail
