About Us

Me 'n Mommy To Be is a multi-award winning kids and maternity retail store with physical stores and a strong e-commerce operation as well. As voted the Best Kids & Maternity Resale Store in the United States and a 7 time award winner of Best of Las Vegas, we’re seeking a part-time social media specialist to coordinate our social media platforms in Las Vegas.

Responsibilities

• Strategize and execute a content strategy for various social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok)
• Brainstorm and drive execution of fun, original social media content ideas to drive awareness and sales
• Conceptualize and create on-trend, platform-specific video content for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, with support for other channels as needed
• Post and upload content on various channels on a scheduled time
• Assist in shooting videos and photos used for various social media
• Act as primary on-camera talent, sourcing other talents as needed to execute ideas
• Comfortable doing live social media events
• Comfortable cold approaching and working with customers and employees to create engaging content bringing our brand to life
• Audit and reply to comments, DMs, in a timely manner
• Write or revise blog posts
• Create fun captions for various posts
• Perform basic edits on photos to make them visually appealing
• Collaborate with various team members on and offsite
• Any other marketing and assistance role
• Increase the number of followers/fans to our accounts through community outreach and content management
• Affiliate and influencer reach-out and relationship building

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience working professionally as a social media professional
• Ability to demonstrate experience in digital/social media with an emphasis on social content creation and video creation on all platforms
• Understanding of SEO
• Extremely knowledgeable & passionate about digital and social media
• Comfortable on camera
• Ability to create a large variety of self-application content
• Creative & inspirational storyteller
• Agile, open-minded, and skilled at delivering in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, project management, and time management skills
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic, solution-oriented and resourceful
• Positive and upbeat demeanor
• Natural relationship-builder, highly collaborative
• Keen awareness of social media trends, technology, and best practices
• Exceptionally skilled with image curation, visual storytelling, and maintaining brand standards
• Ability to draft authentic and engaging copy across all social platforms
• Comfortable multitasking various creative campaigns and projects
• Highly creative, collaborative, positive, and proactive
• Strong understanding of social media
• Master at in-app creative features for Tik Tok
• Expert-level knowledge of major social media platforms, capabilities, and features
• Excellent design aesthetic, communication, and writing skills
• Handle high amounts of web and social media traffic with the ability to expand our reach
