About the Role Sago Mini is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our marketing team on a freelance basis to edit and create beautiful assets for our digital products (Sago Mini World, Sago Mini School, Toca Boca Jr., Piknik). Working specifically on digital products, you’ll get to know the ins and outs of their style guides, and create gameplay trailers, features and more. You will work closely with our team to develop new concepts as well as work within existing templates. Working hours for this role are flexible and will be based off of your schedule in combination with business requirements, to be discussed during interview… process. This a remote/distanced role as a freelance contract position, and open to those living outside of the Toronto area. You’ll thrive in this role if you… • Possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. • You are highly organized, positive and detail oriented. • You have a high degree of proficiency in the Adobe Suite including Premiere Pro and After Effects, and are no stranger to video editing. • Your colleagues often refer to you as a champion of consistency who has high standards of visual execution. What You’ll Be Doing • Editing videos and still images for paid and organic channels. • Creating graphics and new design layouts. • Working within Sago Mini brand & product guidelines and templates. • Strong understanding of typography and a knack for beautifully executing concepts. • Working with and across teams and internal stakeholders to execute the Sago vision. • Perform other design related tasks as needed. Qualifications and Skills • Bachelor degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent work experience. • Experience creating visual assets for digital media. • Impeccable attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills. • Strong graphic design and layout skills. • Strong proficiency with video editing in Adobe Premiere/Rush, After Effects. • Strong proficiency and experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. • Strong communication skills. • Experience with motion graphic design. • A self-starter with a strong sense of urgency. • Experience working with creative briefs and understanding project demands. • Comfortable taking art direction and incorporating feedback into deliverables. • Ability to be flexible and work on a variety of different projects.
