GRAPHIC DESIGNER POSITION We are seeking for Graphic Design Specialist to join NIKO Cosmetics/ ORGA-NIKO LABS Responsibilities: • Drive advertisement design, spanning both offline materials and online promotional campaigns. • Utilize software like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, lnDesign), Coreldraw, and other industry-standard tools to conceive a diverse array of graphics and layouts, encompassing product illustrations, company logos, and website visuals. • Present design concepts for art arrangement, sizing, typography, and style, and seek approval to illustrate creative ideas effectively. • Execute website design enhancements and ensure seamless website maintenance in accordance with brand guidelines. • Lead the conceptualization and execution of website blogs. • Organize and manage design materials systematically, oversee storage, and maintain meticulous inventory records. • Craft compelling company logos, letterheads, brochures, presentations, promotional… materials, and website elements. • Innovate brand extension items, brand peripherals, and brand IP imagery. • Develop materials for publicity purposes and contribute to scene setup. We Hope You Have: • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in visual design or a related field. • Proficiency in a range of design software, including Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, lnDesign), Coreldraw, and other industry standard tools. • Proficient hand-drawing skills, empowering you to independently realize creative visions. • Experience in brand design, reflecting a profound understanding of brand identity and awareness. • Familiarity with publicity materials and a grasp of printing specifications. • Proficiency in web design, with a preference for familiarity with HTML and CSS. • Exceptional cooperation skills and a strong team-oriented approach. • Adeptness at working under pressure, coupled with excellent time management and organizational abilities. • Skillful search engine usage and information retrieval. • An affinity for and comprehension or organic personal care products, design styles, and contemporary cultural trends. Schedule: • Monday to Friday Experience: • Graphic design: 3 years (preferred) Graphic Designer duties and responsibilities: • Design company logos, labels, outer cartons, letterheads, brochures, presentations, promotional materials, and website elements. • Meet with clients or other team members to determine requirements and vision for design elements, which may include multiple strategy meetings. • Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends by attending workshops, courses, and reading relevant material. • Review finalized materials to be sure there are no errors. • Work with internal technology software and hardware. • Select fonts, colours, shapes, designs, styles, and layouts for projects. Graphic Designer skills and qualifications: • Time management skills to work on multiple projects at once and with various deadlines • Attention to detail to ensure that all client or team specifications are met and free of any errors • Patience to send creative designs through multiple approval processes and often work with several different people to get the job • Creative mindset to be able to bring a design to life with simple instructions • Strong organizational skills to keep up with various client needs or team projects • Technical skills to work with popular graphic design programs like the Adobe Suite of products • Social media skills, such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tick Tock, Google Ads…etc. • Marketing skills to design graphic ads and animated clips, publish them in social media and manage their progress. • Email marketing skills to create and launch mass mailers and monitor progress. • Maintain website and have SEO proficiency to land the company sites on first search page. • Flexibility to be able to switch between projects or pivot quickly should the requirements of the project change GRAPHIC DESIGNER MUST HAVE ABILITIES: Experience Experienced in of Adobe Creative Suite - Illustrator - Photoshop - InDesign - Dimension - Premiere Individuals have a good command and understanding of Adobe applications, be talented and innovative in creating compositions for professional looking graphic designs, animations and rendering and be proficient in the following features. Illustrator manipulate text properties and create outlines Use the pen tool to create paths, outlines and define masking paths Embedding objects Define image clipping masks Import images maintain accuracy and consistency between design labels maintain a clean and consistent layer structure across all files Photoshop professionally remove backgrounds layer masks content-aware fill Manipulate colours realistic multi-image compositions and object shadows Transform images using warp, skew, distort…etc Raw photo editing Layer maintenance and organization Dimension create realistic looking images using 3D objects Wrap labels on 3D objects Light effects- shadows and highlights Select and apply materials to objects Render objects Premiere compose and edit videos Create artificial special affects, such as moving water, clouds, pan & zooms…etc. Experienced in online Marketing Google Ads, Facebook, Tik Tok, etc. Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Freelance Expected hours: No more than 40 per week Benefits: • Flexible schedule • Work from home Schedule: • Monday to Friday Experience: • Graphic design: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON M1X 1Z2 Expected start date: 2023-11-13
