Footwearology is an international innovation platform for the footwear industry. Our mission is to reinvent the footwear supply chain, so we can produce footwear local-for-local and on demand, without waste, through automated processes that are enabling multiple lifecycles, including industrial repair, upgrading and end-of-life systems. We partner with machine builders, material suppliers and software developers to create full design and manufacturing workflows featuring a range of technologies, such as knitting, molding and 3D printing. We consult for leading brands and manufacturers around the world, have our own R&D lab in Barcelona, as well as a global upskilling platform for footwear professionals.

Role Description

Footwearology is seeking for a Freelance Graphic and UX/UI Designer to help us improve and streamline our visual identity and to design graphics, logos, layouts and animations for our online courses, consulting projects, presentations, and social media accounts. We are looking for someone who has affinity with sneaker culture and style, but can also translate that to a more corporate and high-tech environment. This is not a fulltime position, we will work on a project basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Graphic Design and/or Web Design
• Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. Any other softwares, including AI, video editing and animation, are a bonus
• Creative style that is suitable for B2B promotion
• We are open for recent graduates, you do not need years of experience, but you do need to have a portfolio. We will mainly select on work attitude and style
• You need to be based in Barcelona, since you will have to be able to work at our studio sometimes
• You will need to be autónomo under Spanish law or have a company, so you can invoice us
• You wil need to speak English since we are an international company and all our social media and promotion is fully in English
